Human rights, The problem of refugees in Europe are very difficult, yet extremely important and timely topics. These were the issues addressed by the youth of our school during an international debate in Eskişehir, Turkey. The Erasmus+ Human Rights project (number: 2020-1-UK01-KA229-079689) involves high schools from Poland, Greece, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

From November 28 to December 4, 2021, a seven-member delegation from our school, supervised by Ms. Agnieszka Organista and Ms. Renata Jakubczyk, took part in international panel discussions and workshops aimed at analyzing the observance of human rights and developing ways to solve the problems of refugees in Europe. The project participants visited the Turkish court and parliament building, where the aforementioned issues were discussed.

The stay in Turkey also provided many wonderful impressions while visiting Eskişehir, Ankara and Istanbul and learning about Turkish culture and daily customs.

The next meeting of the European Erasmus+ Human Rights project will take place in May in Poland.
